This owner started as an estate agent and founded the business in 2006 as an independent estate agent. They were approached by the current Franchisor to join their franchise in 2010.
The owner does not actively sell anymore but rather looks after the day to day operations of the agency and the rental book. A family member works in the business is active in sales but also plays the role of Office Manager and looks after the Sales Agents.
They are now looking for an active business partner that will help them explore the many opportunties avaiable to them in commercial sales and rentals, and growing their existing residentail rental book.
The business currently operates from a purpose built premises at the owner's residence, and the owner wishes for the firm to be relocated by the new owner.
The business has grown consistently year on year and net profit YTD October 2016 has already exceeded net profit generated in the previous financial year.
The business has an existing rental book of about 300 units managed by a Rental Agent who has been with the firm for five years and will remain on in the business.
They are very active in property sales in their franchise area, with 7 Sales Agents who have been in the firm for between 1 and four years, all of whom would like to stay on in the business.
Growth opportunities exist to go into commercial property sales and rentals as there are many industrial suburbs within the area. Many residential units are being built, and the rental book can easily be doubled.
